Olympe & Hagrid
Reasoning: This is the card every couple wants to see. It stands for romantic attraction, making a connection, finding things in common with one another. This card represents working together, and sometimes it can mean resolving differences. Hagrid and Maxime are so far the most prominent (in more ways than one..haha) new couple in the series. They hit it off immediately, having many things in common as well as enough differences to keep things intriguing. They have a momentary spat, when Olympe has trouble recognizing the fact that she too is a half-giant. But eventually it is resolved, peace is made between them, and the two of them set out together on a quest, growing ever closer.

In a traditional tarot deck, this is the Two (2) of Cups.

Notes
This card was both wonderful and nightmarish to do. Firstly, as they are both such large people, their sketches pretty much took up an entire page each. In order to fit them onto the card template, I had to scan them, shrink them via computer, then retrace/draw them. But, that is not an entirely unusual thing for me to do, so I proceeded untroubled. Then I had to tackle that sky. Oh lordy. It worked fantastic in the color test, because I just tried a tiny area. Doing the entire sky - plus stars - was a different story entirely. Then, to top things off, my pen started dying halfway through coloring Hagrid's suit, so it didn't end up as smooth as I would have liked. However, since his suit is furry, perhaps it doesn't look as bad as I think.
I love drawing Olympe. I think she's fantastically gorgeous, and her hair and opals were a kick.
