TUTORIAL:

"Sirius Falls Behind the Veil"... progression:


The very first sketch in my sketchbook.


...ripped out, and traced onto a seperate paper to clean up details...



Just tracing the basic shapes to save time... trying to block out the layout rather than redrawing his face over and over...



Retraced, more details....



Finally transferred onto larger paper so I can draw the entire archway.



And at last, the final sketch, in pencil, which then was copied and became the finished piece.
