ABOUT NASUBIONNA:
 My
name is Laura, I'm 29 years old, and I've been drawing my whole life
- I basically spent my childhood either drawing or up a tree somewhere.
I was born and raised in western Washington State, USA, but moved to
California in 2006. I currently work on a goat dairy and as a massage
therapist, which keeps me pretty busy -but try to draw whenever I can.
I first read the Harry Potter novels around the year 2000, as I wanted
to know what all the fuss was about and I really liked the cover art.
I fell deeply in love with the characters and the world, and immediately
began to draw from it. To date I've done somewhere over 300 Harry Potter
fan arts (lost count) and HP art makes up the bulk of my existing art.
I could blab forever about why I adore the series so much... it just
touches me, amuses me, and envelopes me like nothing else. Harry's world
is tragic, hilarious and perfect the way it's written - therefore most
of my work is as canon-accurate as possible - I feel the books need
no alterations.
In May of 2004 I was given the highest honor I could ever have hoped
for when J.K. Rowling herself mentioned me by name on her
official site, in regards to one of my Marauders drawings. It means
so indescribably much to me that the creator of the world I so adore
doesn't feel like I'm butchering her babies! Thank you, J.K. You've
totally made my life.
I love getting and responding to emails, but I'm very rarely online
anymore so it may take me awhile to reply.

ABOUT THIS SITE:
I
opened this site in 2001, starting with just a few drawings and a
very bad layout. I'm
entirely self-taught at webpage making, and this was my first page
- other sites followed this one. It continues to be the largest of
my sites, due to my intense love of Harry Potter and the many fan
arts that love produced.
After my free host got excessive ads, this site (and my other sites)
had grown enough that I decided they warranted their own domain. Thus,
Nasubionna.net
was born. I went through a couple of bad hosts, before finally landing
with Dreamhost.com.
They are wonderful, and I've been with them for quite a few years.
If you're looking for a host, I highly recommend them.
The site is basically on hiatus these days, but will remain online.
Thanks to everyone for all the support over the years that made this
site fun to run!
