ARTHUR and MOLLY WEASLEY

The redheaded parents of the enormous Weasley brood, Arthur Weasley is tall, lanky and balding, while Molly is short and matronly. They have the occasional squabble (where Molly almost inevitably emerges triumphant...), but are obviously very much in love. Sweethearts since their Gryffindor Hogwarts days, they've raised a large family with generally very good results. Arthur works at the Ministry of Magic, formerly in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts office, now in a positon related to the war. Ironically, he's obsessed with Muggles, and frequently breaks his own laws, much to Molly's dismay. He is a complete foil to Lucius Malfoy, both in personality and beliefs, and Arthur started a fist fight with Lucius for insulting his family and Muggles. But overall, he is very kindly, if a little excitable when it comes to Muggle technology.
Molly is a homemaker, kept quite busy taking care of the nine members of the family and attempting to keep Fred and George in line (as well as her husband at times). She can be ferocious, but only because she is trying to protect her family: she once threatened to set the family ghoul on reporters for lurking around the Burrow. Extremely maternal, she instinctually takes Harry under her wing, helping to ease a serious void in his life.
Both Molly and Arthur are active members of the Order of the Phoenix, which has caused serious strain in their family. Arthur was seriously wounded while protecting the hall of prophecy in the Ministry of Magic, and was saved only by a vision of Harry Potter's. Bill was maimed by a non-transformed werewolf, but has survived with only physical scarring. Percy has been estranged from them for an entire year, as he chose to follow the Ministry instead of his parents. While Arthur remained mute on the subject, Molly experienced frequent breakdowns, exacerbated by her fear of harm coming to her family. One can only hope Percy will make full amends with his family now that the truth has come out, and that the entire clan will make it through the battle against Voldemort without suffering any more casualties.
Though they are extremely poor, and not without their fair share of eccentricities, they do their best to provide a healthy, happy environment for their children.
