Madam ROSEMERTA

Madam Rosemerta runs Three Broomsticks pub in Hogsmead, the only all-magical settlement in Britain. She seems very friendly and pretty, and wears glittering heeled shoes. She has apparently owned the Three Broomsticks for quite some time, at least since the Marauders went to Hogwarts. She seems a very competent business-owner, holding her own against rowdy customers, and expressing sharp concern over the loss of business due to patrolling Dementors. She is also apparently very well known, even to the Minister of Magic himself. The most we really see of her is discussing the history and escape of Sirius Black with Professors McGonagall and Filtwick, Hagrid and Cornelius Fudge. She recalls Sirius as one of the last people she would expect to go to the dark side, and she was right.
