Madam POPPY POMFREY
Madam
Poppy Pomfrey is the Hogwarts school head-healer, and is apparently
a very skilled one at that. She's cured and treated all kinds
of bizarre magical ailments, along with more common problems like
cuts and broken bones. A few known conditions she's treated include:
Hermione's enlarged teeth and post-Polyjuice accident, Harry's
boneless arm, Ron's Norbert-bite, and removed Fred and George's
age-line beards.
She has apparently been the Hogwarts nurse for quite a while,
at least since the Marauder's days, as it was she who accompanied
young Remus Lupin to and from the Shrieking Shack off school grounds
for his monthly transformation. This implies she is either one
of those few wiarding world members who is not prejudiced against
werewolves (which would make sense, because as a healer, she is
likely to know much more about the condition and treat it as a
medical problem, unlike the average wizard off the street...),
or at the very least followed Dumbledore's orders.
Poppy can be very brisk and strict, fiercly protective of her
patients to the point where she will not hesitate to tell even
Dumbledore and the Ministry of Magic to leave the ward if she
feels the presence of others is detrimental to her patients' health.
But beneath that strict exterior is a caring healer who worries
and is concerned for the wellbeing of the students. She also made
Dumbledore blush once by complimenting his new earmuffs. XD

"....Madam
Pomfrey suddenly stuffed a large chunk of chocolate into Harry's
mouth; he choked, and she seized the opportunity to force him
back onto the bed.
'Now, please, Minister, these children need care. Please
leave -- '
The door opened again. It was Dumbledore.........
'Fore heaven's sake!' said Madam Pomfrey hysterically. 'Is this
a hospital wing or not?'"
