GABRIELLE DeLACOUR

Younger sister of Fleur DeLacour, a French Triwizard champion from Beauxbatons School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Gabrielle is chosen to be a prize to be rescued in the second task, along with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, as she is the one thing Fleur would miss the most. Tied unconscious underwater, she along with the others, are guarded by the merpeople until retrieved by their respective champion. She is rescued by Harry Potter, as Fleur falls behind and Harry perceives the victims to be in real danger, temporarily forgetting they would never actually be placed at such risk for the tournament. She nevertheless appreciated the rescue, as did Fleur, who was extremely kind to Harry after that.
