FLEUR DeLACOUR
Fleur
DeLacour is a French witch possessed of a long sheet of silvery-blond
hair, stunningly deep blue eyes, and about the most beautiful
alignment of features one could imagine. She can ensnare unwary
males from several feet away... almost hypnotize them. This is
because Fleur is part veela, a creature so stunningly entrancing
(most of the times...) that most men don't stand a chance against
them.
Fleur was a Triwizard Champion representing her school Beauxbatons.
An accomplished witch, but also a horrendous snob. It was only
after Harry saved her little sister Gabrielle in the 2nd Triwizard
task that Fleur warmed up to him, and she has been quite pleasant
to him since then.
After the tournament year was over, Fleur got a job with Gringotts
to 'improve her English'. Whether she met Bill Weasley before
or after her employment there is not certain... but regardless,
over the course of a year they became very close and are now engaged
to be married.
Bill was horrifically injured in the war at Hogwarts school by
a non-transformed werewolf. While this seems to have left him
relatively uncursed, it still mangled much of his once-handsome
face. I totally expected Fleur to want to ditch him after this,
but she displayed shockingly remarkable character. If anything,
her affection and pride for Bill seems to have only grown because
of how brave he is. Maybe she's not as shallow as she once seemed.

"She
had finally removed her muffler. A long sheet of silvery-blonde
hair fell almost to her waist. She had large, deep blue eyes,
and very white, even teeth.
Ron went purple. He stared up at her, opened his mouth to reply,
but nothing came out except a faint gurgling noise."
