DEAN THOMAS

A tall black boy, Dean is a great artist and forger of signatures. He is a fan of West Ham soccer, a sport which perplexes wizard-born Ron Weasley. He is a half-blood, but was raised as a Muggle, which may account for why he seems less-prejudiced against werewolves than many wizard-raised individuals (he defends Professor Lupin from Umbridge in their 5th year). Dean seems to have a calm temperment, and joins Dumbledore's Army his 5th year. His boggart turned into a severed hand, which, as an artist, I can certainly appreciate. **shiver** Dean spent a portion of his 6th year dating Ginny Weasley, an arrangement that caused Harry Potter a considerable amount of reluctant jealousy.
