The BLOODY BARON

The Bloody Baron is the gaunt, sunken-eyed staring ghost of Slytherin house, whose robes are stained with silvery blood. No one knows why; no one has yet had the nerve to ask (as delicately stated by Nearly-Headless Nick of Gryffindor). The Baron is an ominous presence, and seems to rarely speak, but he has never caused visable harm either, and indeed, is the only being who can truly control Peeves, the irritating poltergeist. I don't much care to learn a whole lot more about him personally, but I must admit I'm extremely curious how he got those bloodstains, especially since the rest of him doesn't seem to be damaged....whose blood is it? Hmmm.......
