Q. Who are you? What? Where? How old are you?
A. Check the 'about me'
page!
Q. What does Nasubionna mean?
A. 'Nasubi' (pronounced: nah-soo-bee) means 'eggplant',
and 'onna' (pronounced: oh-nah) means 'woman' in Japanese. It's a
long story.
Q. Be my friend / penpal!
A. I appreciate the offer, but I don't have the time
nor energy. I love getting emails, but no more internet pen-pals for
me. Sorry.
Q. Why don't you like fanfic?
A. There are a lot of reasons, exceptions,
and variations to this. But basically, I find the canon works
entertaining enough on their own. DO NOT send me fanfic recommendations!
I WILL NOT READ THEM.
Q. Are you a shipper?
A. NO. None of the art on this site was drawn
with any 'ship' in mind
unless it is a canon pairing.

Q. Will you please draw my character or illustrate my
fanfic?
A. Only if you commission me. I do not do free requests.

A. Probably! Please follow the below guidelines.
If you can do everything below, you may use my art on your
site:
1.
Please take only a few drawings.
2. Credit the pictures to me (Laura Freeman or
Nasubionna), preferably on the same page the art is displayed.

4. Send me your website address.
5. Do NOT direct-link images!!!
6. Don't remove my watermarking/copyrighting, please,
unless the image is being used in a website layout. Then, make
sure I'm credited and linked somewhere reasonably easy to find!
7. No pornographic or out of character fanfic/shipper
sites! I hate that sort of thing, and don't want my art associated
with it.
Q. Can you teach me how to draw?
Can I send you some of my art to get your opinion?
A. No. Sorry, but besides not having the
time, I'm really not qualified to tell anyone "how" to do
anything. If you want to see how I do my art, check out my
tutorial. If you want feedback on your HP art, check out Artistic
Alley. They can help you improve more than I ever could.
Q. Why is so-and-so's hands on backwards?
A. Heh...that's personal problem of mine. I think
all artists have something they struggle with, and hands are one of
my weakest points. I'm much better at it now, but many of the older
pictures may have hands on wrong. I'm probably already aware
of it by now, so you don't need to point it out to me.
Q. Why do you draw noses so long?
A. Noses are one of my favorite features of the
human face, and I take great joy in making them last as long as possible.

Q. Snape in a corset?? Ewww! What's wrong with you?
A. Plenty. :p
Q. Can I print your art to look at, use it for my desktop,
or use your art for educational purposes?
A. Absolutely! Print them all you like. I've also
had some teachers ask if they can make coloring pages, etc...out of
my work. The answer is yes, as long as you don't sell them or claim
they're yours!
Q. How can I buy a tarot
deck? Can I print them for my own use?
A. Unfortunately, copyright law prohibits me from
selling any copies of the tarot cards. However, you may print
the cards for your own personal use and enjoyment. Do NOT sell them.
Do NOT use them to make money.
Q. Can I color your pictures?
A. Yes! If you want to put them on your site,
please be sure to credit and link the line art to me. And let me know
if you do, because I want to see it!
Q. Can I use your art for icons?
A. Sure! It would be nice if I could be linked/credited
in some way.
Q. Can get a tattoo of your art?
A. Only if you send me a picture of it. :p
Misc:
Q. What happened to the shrines?
A. They've been downsized into more normal
character profile pages, as I kept wanting to update their looks/content
and it was just too much work to keep all four current with each
other.
Q. Why doesn't so-and-so's name link work (on
the characters
page)?
A. Because I haven't drawn them yet! Don't
worry, I will... check back again later.
Q. Can I link to you?
A. Of course! Thank you! You can pick up banners
here, if you want. Please link to 'http://www.nasubionna.net/hp',
nothing else. I change the pages around at times, and would hate
for your link to end up broken because I cleaned house.
Q. Oooh, I have a great drawing idea for you!
A. Terrific! You can send it to me if you want,
but I probably won't get around to drawing it. Don't get offended,
please!
Q. Can we exchange links?
A. I link sites I find and enjoy, not because
someone asks. The best way to get me to check out your site (and
possibly link to it...) is to sign my guestbook.
I check out everything that goes on in there, and leaving an address
is less confrontational than saying, "Will you link my page?????"
and I am thus more likely to check it out.
